Privacy
72Ragachakra is a free tool for exploring the 72 melakarta ragas. You don't sign up, and nothing is tracked unless you say yes.
Who we are
72Ragachakra is designed, built and run by Exline Labs (Pvt) Ltd, 48-114 Kandy Road, Vinayagapuram, Trincomalee 31000, Sri Lanka. You can contact us through exlinelabs.com.
What stays on your device
If you switch between light and dark theme, your browser remembers the choice in its local storage. Your analytics choice is kept the same way. It never leaves your device and we can't see it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it. All sound is made inside your browser, and the app never asks for your microphone, camera or location.
Visit statistics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which ragas people play and spin to, so we know what to improve. It only runs if you click Allow on the banner. Until then, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookies are set.
If you allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* that last up to two years, and Google receives your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you view. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off, and we never send your name, email or anything you type. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. We keep reports for 14 months.
You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Choosing No thanks after allowing deletes the analytics cookies.
Fonts and hosting
Fonts are served from this site, so loading a page doesn't contact any other company. Like every web server, ours keeps short technical logs, including IP addresses, to keep the service secure. We don't use them for anything else and delete them regularly.
Links
The credit at the bottom of each page links to exlinelabs.com. That site has its own privacy policy.
Changes
If we change how 72Ragachakra handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
